The Kwajalein Yacht Club met on Decmeber 29, 2007 at 6:30pm

KYC Commodore, Jim Stepchew:
Welcomed new members and guests.

Yeoman, Denise Dorn:
Reading of minutes of previous meeting was waived.

Vice Commodore, Mark Long:
No new members.

Purser, Denise Decoster: Absent
Not present, but we're doing OK

Quartermaster, Michael Nast:
Please come to Thursday night Happy Hour…even though I missed a couple!

Ship's Store Report, Richard Russell:
Nothing to report at this time

Race Co-Chairs, Ed Zehr/Mike Turner:
There were nine boats in the Dec. race! Next race is Sunday January 6 with a skipper's meeting at SBM at 1:00.

Cruise Chairman of the Month:
No Cruise in December

Sunfish, Monte Junker:
Nothing to report

Webmaster, David Dethlefsen:
Noticeably absent

OLD BUSINESS

Parade of Lights was a success with 7 boats participating.

Elections were held last month:

NEW BUSINESS

New Year's Day there will be a potluck at Camp Hamilton beginning at 10am. There will be games and the sunfish will be out.

Bruce presented awards to all the boats that participated in the Parade of Lights. A great time was had by all, especially the 4 boats that went to Ebeye

Awarded Jim Stepchew the Life time membership award to KYC!!!!
