- Ship’s Store brought in $300.00 on the sale of merchandise at the 4th of July beach blast.
- New A/C has been physically installed but requires electrical work.
- Approval of monies to purchase trailers is in, just need to research them and purchase.
NEW BUSINESS
- A discussion was brought up by Mark Long regarding sponsorship 2 kids from Ebeye for the school lunch program. The cost would be $540.00. Motion was made and passed.
- Sunfish Regatta scheduled for Sept. 17- need a committee.
- Relay for life scheduled for Oct. 15th - Jane Russell to head committee. Need to get with Lee Allas for walkers. Discussion was raised for setting up Ship’s Store and donating all proceeds to Relay for Life.

We need more KYC members to act as proctors to help tend to the increased interest of people on island wishing to be checked out on the SBM sailboats. Ed will take care of talking to Paul at the SBM about a check sheet and Mike Herrington offered “Chulita” as a boat to use for check out sails.
- Coconut Cup will be held in March and Richard Hixson reminded everyone of the Meico Beach Yacht club association, including a 10% discount at the Marshall Islands Resort and Monica’s.
